DESCRIPTION:STOP THE LEAK: RETENTION THROUGH THE EYES OF THE STUDENTS. \nAt a time when enrollment is decreasing and demand for performance-based funding is increasing\, we need to “Stop the Leak.” What is often missing in higher education programs is examining the efficacy of interventions “through the eyes of the student.”   Using evidence-based intervention\, “My Aspiration Plan” (MAP) is a self-paced guide to help students develop skills in anticipating failures\, handling frustrations\, seeking timely support\, utilizing campus resources\, managing finances and time\, creating a sense of belonging\, and exercising self-care. The goal is to prevent further “leaks” by ensuring students successfully transition to and through college.
