Speaking Engagement

As an international expert on disability, Dr. Hong works with educators and government agencies worldwide in the areas of teaching and learning from the cognitive science perspective.

Her research and practices target areas of reading, writing, handwriting, and spelling at all levels. She also coaches students on how to develop skills of self-determination, including self-advocacy, self-awareness, and self-regulation, so students learn to take charge of their own lives in a meaningful way.
